The Palmer Museum of Art and the Center for Performing Arts, also as other A&A appointment units, foster significant partnerships and connections across the University, enrich the educatee experience, and expand the impact of arts, design, and performance at Penn State and within the broader community.

Center for the Performing Arts

The Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State is unable to present public performances by artists at University Park during spring semester 2021, but the center's series of streaming presentations, Upwards Close and Virtual, continues free of charge to patrons.

Samantha Josaphat

B.Arch. in Architecture 2012

Samantha Josaphat is an architect and the founder of STUDIO 397 Compages. Function of the mere 0.3 percent of black female architects registered in the United States, she is the 397th living black female architect to be licensed. Samantha entered the Penn State Architecture program in 2007, and by 2012, she had traveled to ten countries, become a member of the Arts and Architecture Student Quango, and founded the Penn Country educatee chapter of the National System of Minority Compages Students (NOMAS). While at Penn Land she built herself a valuable network of resources that continues to shape her path to success. Samantha is the 2019 president of the New York chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects. Banana Professor of Landscape Architecture, Stuckeman Career Development Assistant Professor in Blueprint

Hong Wu is leading a team of interdisciplinary researchers in the development of a living laboratory for green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) research, education, and innovation at Penn Country cheers to funding through the University's Strategic Plan Seed Grant program. With partners from the Colleges of Agricultural Sciences and Engineering science, Sustainability Institute, Office of the Physical Establish, Institutes of Energy and the Environment, Penn Country Harrisburg, and the Civic of State College, information technology is Wu'south vision to position Penn State as a national leader in GSI by edifice a campus community with the capacity to implement long-term toll-effective solutions to water quality and quantity. She is primal member of the E+D (Ecology + Design) emerging enquiry center and an elected member of Penn Land's Water Council.
